Albion Hotel

The Albion Hotel is the oldest hotel in Grenfell functioning under the original name and on the same site.
The first Albion hotel was erected in George Street during the gold rush in 1866 although an entirely new building was built in 1902 to face Main Street, although it is on the same site as the original building.The albion Hotel stands today, in 2011 as aperfect example of early 1900 architecture, the iron lace of it's verandahs is widely admired by vistitors to Grenfell.
